STATEMENT OF FAITH
- The Bible is God's inspired Word, the all sufficient rule of faith and practice.
- There is one eternal, true, living, and sovereign God, a Trinity.
- Jesus Christ is God the Son Who died, was buried, raised again, and ascended to God the Father, to redeem a people for Himself.
- The Holy Spirit is God the Spirit Who sanctifies, regenerates, keeps, guides, and empowers all believers.
- All persons are totally sinful by nature and choice, and need salvation in Christ.
- God calls a people eternally appointed to life in Jesus Christ.
- Justification is by grace through faith in Christ and is evidenced by good works.
- Only those professing faith in Jesus Christ may participate in the ordinances.
- The two ordinances given to the local church are baptism and the Lord's Supper.
- Baptism is immersion in water picturing the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ, and the believer's new life in Him.
- The Lord's Supper commemorates Jesus' death until He returns.
- Each believer is responsible only to God according to His Word.
- Jesus is coming again to judge the living and the dead.
- There will be a new heaven, new earth, and new Jerusalem for believers.
- There will be a lake of fire for unbelievers with the devil and his angels.
- Each local church is an independent assembly and responsible for carrying out the great commission of Jesus Christ.
- The secular government shall not restrict or place undue influence on any church, thus maintaining the separation of church and state.
